Yes. We offer regular garden maintenance depending on your garden’s needs and our availability.

This may include lawn mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, leaf clearance, plant care and general garden tidying.

We can work weekly, fortnightly and monthly.
Can I book a one-off garden maintenance visit?

Garden Clearance
Do you clear overgrown gardens?
Yes. We provide garden clearance services for overgrown, tired or difficult-to-manage gardens.
Â
This can include clearing weeds, brambles, ivy, long grass, self-seeded growth, unwanted vegetation, fallen leaves and suitable green waste.
Can you clear brambles and ivy?
Yes. We can clear brambles, ivy and other overgrown vegetation where it is safe and practical to do so.

If growth is attached to walls, fences, sheds, roofs or neighbouring property, we will assess the area carefully before work begins.
Do you remove all garden waste after a clearance?
Green waste removal is available where agreed as part of your quotation.

Some clients prefer to keep suitable waste for composting or council collection, while others prefer us to remove it. We will discuss this with you before work begins.
Can you clear garden waste that was already there?
Sometimes, yes. Waste already present before we begin work may be treated differently from green waste created during our work.

If there are piles of mixed waste, soil, rubble, fencing, timber, plastic, artificial grass, household waste or other non-green waste items, we may need to quote separately or advise on specialist disposal.

Japanese knotweed or other invasive plants requiring specialist handling

If Japanese knotweed is suspected, we will not place it with standard green waste. Specialist advice and disposal may be required.
Turfing & Lawn Care
Do you lay new turf?
Yes. We provide turfing services, including lawn preparation, levelling where required, turf laying and aftercare guidance.
Can you remove an old lawn before turfing?
Yes. If needed, we can remove old grass, weeds or tired lawn areas before preparing the ground for new turf.

The condition of the ground will be assessed before quotation.
How do I look after new turf?
New turf needs careful watering and should not be used heavily while it establishes.

We will provide aftercare guidance once the turf has been laid so you know how to help your new lawn settle in.
Can turfing be done all year round?
Turfing can be done at different times of year, but weather and ground conditions matter.

Very dry, frozen, waterlogged or extreme weather conditions may not be suitable. We will advise on timing based on the garden and season.
Hedge Cutting & Pruning
Do you cut hedges?
Yes. We provide hedge cutting, hedge trimming and hedge reduction services.

We can help with boundary hedges, front garden hedges, overgrown hedges and regular hedge maintenance.
Do you prune shrubs and small trees?
Yes. We offer pruning for shrubs, smaller trees and established planting where appropriate.

For larger trees, protected trees or specialist tree surgery, we may recommend a qualified tree surgeon.
Do you check for nesting birds?
Yes. We aim to work responsibly around wildlife.

If active nests or wildlife concerns are found, we may need to pause, postpone or adjust the work.
What if a tree has a Tree Preservation Order?
If a tree is protected by a Tree Preservation Order, conservation area rules or planning conditions, permission may be needed before work can be carried out.

The client is responsible for informing us about any known protections, but we may also advise checking with the local authority before pruning or cutting mature trees.
Planting & Borders
Do you offer planting services?
Yes. We can help with planting, pots, planters, border refreshes, seasonal planting, shrub planting and low-maintenance planting ideas.
Can you help choose plants?
Yes. We can help suggest suitable plants based on the garden’s light, soil, style, maintenance needs and your preferences.

Yes. Low-maintenance planting is a great option for clients who want a garden that looks good without needing constant attention.

We can suggest practical planting ideas that suit the space and level of care you want to commit to.
Can you refresh existing borders?
Yes. We can weed, clear, tidy, reshape and refresh existing borders, install edging where suitable, and add new plants, mulch or other improvements where required.
Soft Landscaping
What is soft landscaping?
Soft landscaping refers to the living and natural parts of a garden, such as lawns, planting, borders, hedges, shrubs, soil, mulch and garden layout improvements.

It can include turfing, planting, border creation, lawn preparation, soil improvement and garden refreshes.
Do you offer full garden redesign?
We focus mainly on practical soft landscaping, garden improvements, planting, turfing and refreshing outdoor spaces.

For complex full redesigns involving detailed design plans, major hard landscaping, drainage or structural work, we may recommend working alongside a specialist designer or contractor.
Can you improve a garden after a clearance?
Yes. A clearance is often the first stage. Once the space is opened up, we can discuss turfing, planting, borders, soft landscaping and maintenance options to help the garden feel more enjoyable and usable.
Pricing & Payments
How much do your gardening services cost?
Prices depend on the type of work, size of the garden, access, waste removal, materials, machinery required and the time needed.

We provide quotations so you understand the cost before work begins.
Do you charge hourly or fixed price?
We may charge by the hour, half day, full day or fixed-price quotation depending on the work.

Garden clearances, turfing, soft landscaping and larger jobs are usually priced after assessing the site.
Do you require a deposit?
For works booked more than 7 days in advance, larger jobs, regular maintenance start dates, materials orders or bookings where a full or half day is reserved, we may request a deposit to secure the booking.

The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of quotation or booking.
When is payment due?
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the visit or upon receipt of invoice.
Â
For larger projects, staged payments may be required, particularly where materials need to be ordered before work can begin.
Access, Safety & Preparation
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not always. As long as safe access has been arranged and the work has been clearly agreed, you do not always need to be home.

We will discuss access arrangements before the visit.
What should I do before you arrive?
Please make sure we have safe access to the garden and that any pets, children, fragile items or movable garden furniture are kept away from the working area.

Please also let us know about any hazards, hidden cables, glass, irrigation systems, loose paving, ponds, fragile items or access restrictions.
Can you work through the house?
Sometimes, yes, but this must be agreed in advance.

If access is through the house, we will discuss how tools, waste and materials can be moved safely and respectfully.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Gardening work can be affected by heavy rain, high winds, storms, frost, extreme heat or waterlogged ground.

If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we may need to rearrange the visit.
Machinery & Accidental Damage
Do you use professional machinery?
Yes. Depending on the job, we may use professional tools and machinery such as mowers, strimmers, brushcutters, hedge cutters, blowers and other powered equipment.

Please read our Terms and Conditions before any work commences.
Can machinery throw stones or debris?
Some machinery can disturb or throw stones, gravel, hidden debris, twigs or loose material, especially in overgrown gardens, gravel areas, borders and long grass.

We take reasonable care and assess risks before work begins, but clients should tell us about fragile or vulnerable items near the working area.
What should I move before work starts?
Please move or protect fragile, valuable or vulnerable items where possible, such as garden ornaments, furniture, plant pots, glass, vehicles, lighting, toys, cables or delicate features.
