At Feel Good Gardening, we believe a garden should feel good from start to finish — and that includes what happens to the waste once the work is complete.
 

Whether we are carrying out a garden clearance, hedge cut,pruning job, lawn care visit, seasonal tidy-up or soft landscaping project, we aim to handle green waste responsibly, safely and professionally.
 

Our Commitment

Where green waste removal is included as part of your quotation, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that suitable garden waste is removed and disposed of through appropriate routes.
 

We do not support fly-tipping, irresponsible disposal or leaving clients uncertain about where their waste has gone.
 

Feel Good Gardening is registered for waste carrying where required.

What We Mean by Green Waste
 

Green waste may include suitable biodegradable garden material such as:

• Grass cuttings

• Hedge trimmings

• Leaves

• Weeds

• Plants

• Small branches

• Prunings

• Shrub cuttings

• General garden vegetation created during our work
   

Where possible, green waste will be separated from other types of waste so that it can be handled appropriately.
 

Waste Removal Is Agreed in Advance
 

Green waste removal is only included where it has been agreed as part of your quotation.

Some clients prefer to keep suitable green waste for their own composting or council garden waste collection. Others prefer us to remove it from site.
 

We will discuss this with you before work begins so the quotation is clear and there are no surprises.

Waste removal costs may depend on:
 

• The amount of waste

• The type of waste

• Access to the garden

• Loading time

• Disposal costs

• Whether waste is loose, bagged or mixed

• Whether specialist disposal is required
   

Waste We May Not Be Able to Remove as Green Waste
 

Not everything found in a garden can be treated as ordinary green waste.
 

The following items may need separate pricing, specialist disposal, or may not be removed by us:
 

• Soil

• Turf containing soil

• Rubble

• Concrete

• Stones

• Bricks

• Paving

• Fencing

• Timber

• Sheds

• Decking

• Artificial grass

• Plastic pots

• General household waste

• Chemicals

• Paint

• Asbestos

• Animal waste

• Contaminated waste

• Hazardous materials

• Japanese knotweed or other invasive plants requiring specialist handling
   

If we discover unsuitable, mixed, contaminated or hazardous waste during a job, we may need to pause that part of the work and discuss the safest and most appropriate next step with you.
 

Japanese Knotweed and Invasive Plants

Japanese knotweed and certain invasive plants must not be treated as ordinary garden waste.
 

If Japanese knotweed is suspected, we will not place it with standard green waste. Specialist advice and disposal may be required.
 

If you are aware of Japanese knotweed or another invasive plant on your property, please tell us before work begins.
 

Records and Responsible Disposal

Where appropriate, we keep records of waste disposal, including receipts, transfer notes or disposal information.
 

This helps protect our clients, our business and the environment.
 

For larger clearance jobs, commercial clients or managed properties, waste documentation may be provided on request where available.
